Thanks, Steve - I'm so excited!! :w00t: They were worth the drive to Mansfield to get them!! :(

We need to fit the glass and finish off the prep & paint - But think it's best that we did it that way anyway, I'd hate to damage anything, having them on site.

Thanks!! Hope you're OK and the Mini's doing alright! :)

So -

We need to pressure test the plumbing tomorrow, make sure everything's OK before it all gets hidden.

We also need to look at some skirting - Whether we get it from a reclamation yard, or buy repro stuff. The house has 2 different types - One more ornate, one much more plain. Need to decide which, but I think the ornate one might look nice - But I think the only place we'd find it is in a reclamation yard.

Also, any suggestions of colours will be great!! I'm open to all suggestions!! :D (Apart from pink.)

Thanks for following, guys - I'm so grateful for all of your help and interest!! :dontgetit:

EDIT: Oh - And I mowed the front lawn the other day - Looks less like a derelict house now, lol :geek:

If you are really stuck, there are companies that will machine matching mouldings from a sample. Can often be accessed via the more traditional wood yards.

Colour? Suggest a colour? To a woman? Perish the thought !!

Any decent joinery shop should be able to machine your skirting for you. We used to reproduce old skirting for people all the time!

Aw! Thanks Rach!! Long time no see! How's everything with you all? :dontgetit:

Not much progress to report after this weekend, I'm afraid. Spent most of it trying to get Nora ready for her MOT.

We did have a tidy up though & found the kitchen again!! :)
