Actually, that sounds pretty interesting! ;)

We looked 'round a few places, but the one that we got really grabbed us and was exactly what we were looking for - Also ... they were plain white (didn't have that weird pattern) on the internal faces ... which sold it for me, lol :D

;) I think it sounds pretty boring, more importantly didn't look around properly but have you got a super sexy induction hob?

Plain white is much nicer, I also cant stand the patterns.

Found a use for the cellar yet?

Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!! :D :D Such a good day!! :w00t: :D  :w00t:

Firstly, I decided last night that I had had enough of the paint on the outside wall ... :P

Plus, it was doing the brick & mortar work no good, as it had started to get a little damp and blister.

So, I decided to get to work and remove it! This is where I started!! :shifty:

Posted Image

However, I soon realised that it's HUGE, lol

So - I only got this far, lol :errr:

Posted Image

>_<

However .. It was also because we had much more exciting things going on in the kitchen! :shifty:

Firstly ... we turned the fridge on :gimme: Oh my! :gimme:

Posted Image

:gimme:

Secondly ... we started on the floor!

After cleaning up the concrete floor in the kitchen, K laid the DPM. :D It looks great - And it feels nice and level under-foot!! :D

Then, we started to lay the uber-expensive self adhesive underlay, for the wood floor ... :shifty:

Posted Image

:D

After working out the thickness of the wood & underlays combined, we made some minor adjustments to the door frames!!

Posted Image

(the reason we're having to do all of this work :))

Posted Image

Perfect ;D

Posted Image

And ... what does it look like.... :D

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

You've no idea how much I love this floor!!!

I'm completely smitten!! :gimme: :gimme:

(It's only loose at the moment, it's not stuck to the floor - just so we can make sure we get it straight first!!! :P)

It was worth the 140 mile round trip to get it ... with all 5 boxes (2.2m long) in a HR-V :)

:P
