Is it the normal exhaust for your car, or a specialist/aftermarket one?

What exhaust have you got?

Check the exhaust is not fouling the subframe

Are the mountings the original ones and have you kept the rubber mounts ?
an exhast solid mounted to the boot floor is extreemly loud as it reverberates through the whole car .

my old mini with the bike can on, had no back seats and a hole in the panel the back seats sit on, it was very very noisy without the seats in, i put them in to sell it and it quietened it down no end! but check all the joints on the zorst and make sure its rubber mounted, because as already said, its loud!

Like steve said, have a look under the seat and see if there are any holes in it, normaly around were the seat meets the arch.

Other than that, jump in mine and I'll show you what loud is!! :) :cheese:

A twin box RC 40 should be nice and quiet, even with the seats out.
