Any one got pictures of custom rears seats, say REAR seats from other cars in a mini? Some Ideas from other cars on what I like but anyone done something in a mini. I like the idea of 2 separate rears seats but without the armrests as the mini is too narrow.

Was thinking to put 2 BMW E46 front seats in the rear minus the seat rails and adjusters. Posted Image

im thinking that alot of seats are gonna be too big, i personally dont worry bout the rear seats as i drive the car!!!
u'd prob have to lower the rear seat pan a bit , the headrests could be too high aswell. if it works keep us posted

What if you got two older style bucket seats without headrests, bolt them in and boxed around them with upholstered MDF or ply? Could look really nice if you did a good job. Also have you had a look at some rover coupe seats in the rear, look pretty nice, though maybe no in the same league as the picture you've put in.

I have fitted Honda Prelude seats into my Mini.

Rear seat base fits straight in no mods. Back part needs cutting down. Took and hour.

Front seats, I have welded bolts to the floor and fastened seats to them. Front seats slide and are much easlier to get into back than before. Took about 4 hours in total. Cost £50 for perfect seats. Bargain I thought.... :D

awesome, but those ferrari ones at the top would look sweet in a mini too! Even in the front!

Leg room and headroom reduced a bit. Someone 5.8" and smaller is ok.

Been thinking about this too, and after watching a re run of wheeler dealers i wondered if a BMW 6 series rear seat from a 1980's car would fit?
Something like.....

The two seats are seperate from the console so may fit in a mini then maybe make a console between them if there is room?
