[alto duo]

Hello my name is Geoffrey King

I have owned Minis since 1970 and am a bit of an enthusiast. Over the past few years I have played with Mini based kit cars, one of which is the Alto Duo. It is short, and tall a bit like a Smart car though it pre-dates it by several years. I do have an old and sadly very rusty real Mini which is only suitable for bits. Over the years I have always done my on repairs and re-builds so have learned a bit along the way. I am now retired and finding groveling under Minis much harder to do than I found it in the past.

About 20 Alto Duo kits were built, not sure how many got onto the road, or how many are left.

Welcome to TMF Goeffrey.
I've always like the Alto and other mini based kits. I think either some of the Altos or a new batch of them were produced powered by batteries (not sure how many tho).
