i have recently bought myself a new project / car. i was after another mini but dotn have 2k spare for a road going one (N). so i bought myself a rover 114 GTa metro :)

50k on the clock, service history up to 35k. old lady owner from new, im second owner.

well thats the boring stuff over with now here are some piks :)

as you can see the car has no hydro fluid in it so the ride was erm harsh.

and been so low it did a bit of destruction

then the sump gasket split.

so then i got that sorted out.

then got it hired on wednesday but no piks of this yet. he put it to standerd height for me then i have dropped 250ml of fluid out.

so what we all think ?

thats not my car just the same model and colour how convenient, its at standerd ride height like mine was when it was pumped up

it handled like erm well it didnt it rolled all over the place it was horrable to drive so i set to work with mums best measuring just and a match stick :)

i dropped 250ml of fluid out altogether.

the front sits lower but if i lower it any more the front will be too low but the back just right then ill be back at square one where i cant get over speed humps :)

im hoping the back will level out a bit when i have my sub and all the random useless stuff that lives in my boot back in :)

a sump guard wont cut it, every time i took it off the drive the subby, front pannel, down pipe and sump scraped on the ''dropped'' curb :)

question for someone, can i fit mini lites to it :)
