Sorry for the lack of updates!!!!! The car is undergoing some minor surgery at the moment. My engine blew up in september, after som serious boost abuse! I have put in a fresher engine (also 13b-REW) with a street-port and some minor upgrades, and hopefully it is to be started this weekend. A brand new turbo is mounted (Precision Power 6266 CEA) wich hopefully will deliver the power earlier... In 2013 I am aiming for +400 whp :nuke:
Have no fear...the Beast is alive and kicking... Hopefully, I'll get my sh*t together, and post some fresh pictures in the near future!!

:D :!: ........................ Thats all i have to say on the matter for now.

No it really wasn't! But the worst parts were suspension and brakes... Rubber cones up front, and 7,5" brakes with Pagid pads, wich caught on fire!! I must have been insane. Better now!!

Now that turbo sounds B-E-A-U-tiful. shame about the smooth running.

sorry, just going by what my rotary sounds and goes like, seemed like yours wasnt boosting up right, what turbo you running? standard twin pack?

also what was that loud knocking everytime you came off boost?

dont mean to be spotting flaws with the vehicle, think its amazing whats been achieved here, also plan on a similar project soon enough as i have the rx7 sitting there and will have space for another long term project soon

also do you have any more detailed pics of how everythings mounted? like did you use the rx7 running gear etc?

It is actually on the Z-cars 280 mm/wilwood kit now, Ferrodo DS2500 pads. Pulls my face off, and doesn't fade at all! Front suspension is custom with Jaguar coilovers from Gaz and Faulkner race springs. This video is a couple of years old. O_O

Here is a clip from last year. Fooling around with really bad compression on the rear rotor... About 5:30 in you can see some footage of me and a friend's raceprepped Porsche 944 RS turbo having a little battle. I had to let him pass after a real horrible entry! I was laughing so hard I almost fell out of the car... LOL!

Loved that video, especially the little shortcar things. Everyone else is nice and quiet driving around and then the camera cuts to one of them its just "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" gearchange "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" rev limiter then gear change" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH"

Love the car Minibar by the way, just simply nuts!!

Oooohaaa... Hve spent a few hours in the Dynapac today, remapping for the new engine and turbo. Happy with the result!

That's awesome, do you have any idea how much the car weighs? Power-to-weight must be quite extreme
