I like the new bumpers and yellow headlights. You still planning on putting a mk1 grill on it?

Yeah, still want to put the grill on, i just never get round to doing it. I need to get my ass into gear, think it'll change the front end quite a bit, finish it off nicely!

Got thinking the other day and i decided to try something a little different with my little mini.

I was thinking of going for a Tan Brown 70's style vinyl roof, i think it would look wicked with the Mk1 grille and the tan brown bonnet straps i've already bought and you can't get a more retro colour than brown! Think i'll try and photoshop a quick mockup to see if i like it.
What does everyone think?

Bought a old pressed GB badge the other day to, got to fit it to my rear bumper.

This car is beautiful, a credit to you Dan.
Just a quick question how did you wire up the old syle front indicators as i thought they only had one wire coming from them as opposed to the mpi ones that have two?
Cheers

Andy.

Bootiful mini.
Doing a good job on it, you are.

Don't clad the roof with brown vinyl :P . Put the effort into the bonnet lip, mk1 grille & 'tache.

Wonderful Mini! Can you just replace the Mk2 lenses with the Mk4 lenses originally fitted on the Mpi? :)

Nope. Mk2 lights are smaller so you need to change the whole units. Its an easy job but can be an ass ache moving the fuel tank if its full.

Hi Dan, I'm loving the mini! :D
May I ask what arches the car is running on the first page? they look like would and picketts, but appear to curl under the rear valence?

Cheers
