Can I ask, are those bolt in seat bars?

Excellent work, all looks really good!

Hi Keith
Thanks for your comments.
Yes they are bolt in type, with spreader plates which are msa correct spec.
Just got to adjust the clutch, fit mudflaps, get the suspension set up and install two brake lines.
Cheers

Thanks Kevin, can I also ask where you got them from please? We need to reposition the seats in ours & are undecided how to do it as yet, my son being all for welding them in, but I think bolt in ones could be a good idea in case there's any future metal replacing needed!

Nearly there! I'm looking forward to seeing this little beauty finished!

I am currently preparing my own Mini rally car and was just wondering how you found the fit and finish of the Minisport carbon rear bulkead? Also how did you go about bonding it into place? Fuel lines, i noticed you used a braided line as i was planning on doing, where abouts did you have it enter and exit the front and rear bulkheads? Sorry about all the questions just had these few things on my mind and i've been impressed with your work!

Hi Kevin, any news? Have you done your first event in it yet?
Keith
Hi Keith
Some good news and some not so good news.
The mini is now fully ready:)

I had a few little teething problems, but apart from that all is well.
But the rally, I was placed on the reserve list along with 6 other crews, the event only aloud 86 cars to run, so I could only get to run if a car pulled out or failed scrutineering and no one did! So we did not get to do the event.
So my first event will be next year.
Already have a few ideas of some upgrades:)
Cheers

Shame you didn't get an entry, I'm sure you would have had great fun in a car that well prepared, roll on next year then!
And the upgrades never stop, do they?!
Once again, gorgeous little car, I'd love to have a good look at it 'in the metal'!
All the best

Choke 40
Main jet 200
Air correction 180
Em tube F9
Pump jet 55
Idle 50 F8
Aux vent 3.5
From looking at the Vizard book this set up is listed for full race, I noticed that the pump jets where missing their gaskets, so I have ordered some. With this set up I have noticed that it bogs down below 2500 3000 and it has an erratic idle.
I'm going to try a lower setting/set up from Vizard on my weber and see how it goes, I also have on order a MED stub stack kit :)
I have just asked this question, but does any one know where I can purchase some Dunlop D93J tyres from?
Cheers
Kevin
