Hi All

i have a 1966 mini but would like to have the the spotlights that are on the italain job minis (I.E the centre spotlight raised higher than the other two), i know that you can get the frame work with the spotlights but they are about £175 as there was one on ebay but missed it due to being at workbut after a discussion with a mate i have the opportunity to get the frame work made in stainless steel at work.

Does anyone on the forum have this on their car if so could i have the measurements of the frame work so i can get this made i really appreciate it if there is someone that does and if poss could try to get you one also obviously there won't be any spotlights with it.

The measurements that i would require are full length left to right, top to bottom and the distance at when the bend is for the centre spot light and at what height it would be, i know that this sounds very confusing but can easily call you to make things easy.

Hi if you want to get the correct spot lights then they are 'Cibie Oscars' if your going for the exact italian job style then you could try and find some of those spotlight guards with the leather straps (i think they are very rare though as i have been looking for a set for a while now). Correct lamp bars can be found at www.theitalianjobminicoopers.com IIRC, these are exact replicas from the film.

Thanks for the info i shall take a look at the web page, if i manage to get the spotlight bar made and you would like one let me know,and i will try to get you one made also, it won't be chrome but stainless steel.
