so yeah the crashed red one was nakerd, the entire bulkhead had came in about 2 -3 inches. when the cage got unbolted the shell dropped thus meaning the doors wouldent shut.

unfortunatey i dont have that workspace anymore, im now on my drive.

wont be running a rear valence unesscersary weight

then i drove all the way to leeds to buy the replacement

when we got it home and started poking rust happend, so i cut it

Great project thread. Good luck with it all. I was wondering where you position the lifting points on the underside of your mini when lifting it on the ramps/lift. Could you take a couple of pictures from underneath for me please.

hey

mdickson, i put the rears on the subframe where ever you can get them on, and the fronts go where the sills meet the floor
and inner wings, so it does cave the pan.

hey all

here todays progress, got my engine in, mounted my tank to the mounts i made, fitted my front hi-los and new bump stops.

along with some other bits and bobs

I like it, what spec is the engine? Whats the exterior spec going to be? Im assuming slammed, miglia arches with a slab front

COlour?

engines just a metro 1275 with a fast road cam. soon to change. its just going to be primer grey 10"wellers hinding under the miglia arches,
clubman bumbers front and rear, cherry bomb backbox (custom linkpipe). and various other things thar will happen in the next 3 weeks.

wow im liking that, there is some good progress happening there, im loving the way your tank is welded in gives me ideas for mine, any pictures of the dead mini before it met its maker, looks like it was quite a tasty mini one upon a time
