hey all heres my new project,
where it started and where ive got to so far.

I started by stripping my old mini (my mates f**k up, he had a breif encounter with a 206) had to retreve all the good parts.

then i drove all the way to leeds to buy the replacement

when we got it home and started poking rust happend, so i cut it

i had to move the mini from a mates work to my drive so proggress was slow, working inbetween rain.

i started with some splicing work, i used the back end of my old one to repair the new.




then i got my front subframe on. its got 1.5 neg bottom arms, heavy duty tie rods, minisport 4pot calipers 7.9 vented disks,
miniports hi-los and spax adjustable shocks




then it was all hands on the rear

then the wheels went on via a ream beam and GAZ coilovers



thats about it so far, looking to be done by christmas, yes i am mad!!

if its not raining in the evening i work on it so there will be many updates

Looks like it coming along nicely. Shame about your old one but at least your putting another one back on the road. Keep up the good work i'll be watching this one.

You're very lucky to have so much indoor space, mine would proceed a lot faster if I had just one quarter of that space!
