I nearly bought one of these a while back.
It was fitted with a 1340 in beige with cerved wood dash etc and brown seats,
It was built by a guy as a retirement project some time ago and he had made a wooden crafted dash which was like a furniture with lots of
"cubby holes" .The interior had seen better days and the car was requiring make over.
I thought it was very MK3 escort in the flanks and this one had 4 lights at the front which looked MK2 Rs 2000.

I sort if regreted not buying it from time to time and I wondered what happened to it.

Right well after lots of messing around it is now all up and running as it should be, just needs setting up now. I've been struggling since I got it going with variable boost levels, sometimes 15psi plus, sometimes no more than 5psi.

Today I change the actuator, and hey presto consistant boost. the actuator was new and seemed ok when tested independantly, but was sticking, it's in the bin now.

How comes you put the black front on? Preffered it with the original front!

Well after removing it it needed spraying, and there was no chance of maching the colour of the rest of the car. If I bothered to clean it and take some better photos, it actually looks ok.

I think it also has the look of a 205 gti from the front (just a bit squarer) and a nissan sunny from the side at the rear (with the vents) The colour scheme with the black front sort of matches your avtar picture too!

looks like an old fiat uno with a bit added on the boot. interesting machine though. might have to find myself something like this.
