I bought this to replace my mini as a daily driver (minis just keep rusting). The pictures are pretty much as I bought it. It's basically mini running gear in a GRP monocoque shell. Been using it for daily commute for a few months now. So far fitted stage one type bits I had in the garage, plus megasquirt, its a 1275 at the moment. Then chucked the Metro seats out and put in the MX 5 ones, also fitted the radio and changed the steering wheel fro a 12" one.

Next on the list are some 13" wheels.

Then I'm slowly gathering bits for for a 998 turbo, aiming for 120bhp and 40+mpg. Hopfully have it turbo'd for classic Le Mans next year.

They'd look quite nice, but 6s are too wide. I'm buying some 5.5s wit a hope that they'll be ok.

Yes, XR3 shrunk in the wash!

Seats are great for a mini too, I have them in one of mine.

Sadly it won't go any lower. The suspension is all at the right height, but the rear arch mouldings are a bit too high. The rear suspension is quite soft compared to a mini so it does need a bit of movement.
