Tomorrow, maybe, it begins ...
The insurance is sorted ... I get £3k plus the car. I've got a job as a strippagramp (OAP strippagram) to pay for the rest of it.
It's quite strange ... we're both having our suspension fixed ... I'm due for a hip operation in Feb, with no driving for six weeks afterwards :P
I'll open another topic on Huey when there's something positive to say :(

Exactly that. 80% of the agreed value less £200 excess, as per policy.

Great. I am glad they paid out the full amount they were meant to.

How much was your yearly policy out of interest?
I bet your looking forward to getting started on the rebuild? Or are you dreading it?

Did you have to buy the car back also or did they just let you have it?

1) £196.90 fully comp with Mrs T & my son Tim named drivers. Can't remember about the NCB.
2) Provided nothing horrendous is found underneath it's going to be great. I'll be checking with the MoT garage to make sure nothing out of order is done.
3) I just kept the car.

Thanks for all your good wishes. I feel another good summer coming on
