A full set of locks is only £18 from minispares, so don't worry about drilling it if needs be.

Hi,

Oh right that sounds like a good idea, was it just a case of undoing the hinges of the boot at the bottom as you say, But when removing the boot lid did you simply lift it down then off, wouldn't the boot lock get in the way as its already locked?

Just wondering as it does sound like an easy way round it.

No just pull it down. The lock lever is pointing straight upwards so it will literally pull straight down. Then you undo four 7 or 8mm bolts and pull the hinge off, then you can have your way with the handle lol.
