I have a Yamaha R1 2003 5PW home made conversion.
Those of you running bike engine converstion's promotives or other.
I Need to get myself the barnett conversion. Ive seen a few places doing them on the net. But i'd rather use a stockest used by others.
Rather than bid on one to find that that i have to wait till the ebayer makes an order and then wait till it gets shiped from usa (or soem other story).
has any body used this one? http://www.motorcycl...ducts_id=402144
Also just a Q as to what oil you are using?
as im currently using a semi sintyhetic guardian 10-40.
Thanks

Im using comp 4 but it gets changed all the time! So doesn't rely matter what you use as long as its good oil & good filter..

I had been leed to believe that using a fully sinthetic oil would give me more clutch slip, but it makes sense that as it's a relatively new engine it should be fine.
also a local kawasaki drag race sujested that as the engine is not getting the normal amount of outside air around it and aid cooling a bit then the fully sinthetic would not break down as quick.
but my cooling seems to work ok.
Thanks for the replys.
