Wheel: Sparco 310F2SN
Paddle Shifter: PBS Engineering micro switch
Aux Buttons: Sparco
Wheel Spacer: Pelican Parts 32mm
The left and right built in buttons will be left and right turn indicators (don't want a stalk on this one). The two aux buttons will be horn (bottom right) and manual lap timer (bottom left. before it's all said and done, there will be another umbilical for the indicators and aux buttons. Also had to order some longer m5 bolts and other misc hardware from boltdepot.com to adapt to my quick release hub.
Oh and if anyone is wondering I'm really not quite THAT pasty pink...color must be off on the Sony Cybershot!
Cheers,
Monte

I'm new to these forums and have just read through the whole of your project article. Its looks fantastic, everything is just, mind blowing.
Just wondering whether you have got any further along with the project, as I can't wait to see the end result.
Cheers

First pic is Downs Engineering http://www.downsengi...m/hayabusa.html windage tray / baffle for their bespoke wet sump showing shortened oil strainer and breather tube, as well as higher pressure regulator. Need to lift the clutch out to install a matching high volume pump gear:

Second pic is installed Downs Engineering sump from the front, showing oil out (on sump) and return (Aeroquip -8 fitting where stock filter would normally go). Blue rag plugs bypass hole, which I'm welding up a new plug for.

Third pic is installed sump from the rear

Last pic shows dry fitted headers and collector which are being sent to HPC tomorrow for inside and outside coating. I'm thinking of going for their "extreme" heat control option http://www.hpcoating...at.aspx#extreme to reduce under hood temps as much as possible since my bum will be just 4 or so inches from the headers on the other side of a thin ally panel...

More later.

Right now I'm planning Silver with black accents on the body, black accents on the interior with red belts and other bits just to mix it up a bit. Right now I'm predicting about 185BHP at the crank with the mostly stock, but slightly tweeked, motor...I may have an induction surprise coming for everyone that might boost that number a bit...stay tuned.
Cheers,
Monte
Loving all the detail you put up with the build!! What color do you plan to paint the car????
