Hi monte.Your car looks great.Its an inspiration to keep going on my Mk1. Looks like your useing a Transworks diff?? it has reverse& engine sits lengthwise..Sure looks good.Am keeping tabs of all bike engine builds....RichMk1(gizmo) in wash USA

Hasn't shipped yet, will work out details iin the next few days with Chris I'm sure. Insured all the way though, no way I'd do it without, so I guess "pray" shouldn't be interpreted as faith. If faith worked all the time, there wouldn't be as need insurance or lawyers...

yes monte Im in Renton. Washington-S.E of seattle. Im doing a 63 Mk1 mid engine busa.CF doors,boot 1 piece ft end &roof panet. lexan door & side windows. Trying to get as light as possible. RichMk1 (gizmo)

hi monte sorry bout the mixup. yours is a Z-cars build,&custom mini was the one that looks like its using a TRansworks diff. are you useing the chain drive ? Im looking at a gear drive setup by gearone sold by sandbullet in cal. Them guys into sandrails have got some cool stuff. anyway yer cars looking great ....RichMk1(gizmo)

Doesn't look to much left to do, if you get that in Feb, you must be looking at the summer for completion ???

Only glad it's going abroad, as Will easyly beat my car on wieght....
Got the latest Mini DVD, that 2.83sec to 60 Monta Mini just sounds great.....

What's the paddle shifter system ?? is there a WWW ?

Actually I'm using the PBS paddles with a Translogic Powershift...with built in "autoshift" for F1 type launches - maybe I can beat that 2.83sec to 60 run!

I hope to get the car done by sometime this summer....

Try this before you buy the other, they are a bit cheaper. It doesn't do the interupt but the Motec will be doing mine for me......

All the same nice to see another system at well under £1000....

Already picked up the Translogic unit a few months ago on eBay, 40% of retail can't be wrong!

...exciting day! I just received word this AM from Chris that the last pieces have come in for my kit of parts that are coming with the car - the Curley bits I ordered (door cards and Evo Asad dash). My customs agent (aka my younger brother) is arranging paperwork as we speak - not long now until you guys get to see pics from this side of the pond!!! :grin: :grin: :grin:
