They're called their "Fender Flare Kit, Fortech GT". You might be refering to one of the Fortek (different spelling) kits that are made in the UK (I think)? I've heard they've rev'd the design on those pices at least once to narrow them up for std road mini conversions as the race width (what I have) was too wide for anything but custom racers really...where did you purchase your set?
I think yours look great. I bought some and they were too narrow. not as wide. what are they called WIDE or ??? I need as you are trying there. perfect...

Went up to visit Willie to day and talk Z-Cars and Minis. The wife and kids spent time in the pool he graciously let us use as it was North of 95deg F today (pretty darn hot for SE Michigan). Anyway, I ended up borrowing a set of Fortech front flares he has as spares to see how they'll fit the Monte Carlo, below are some pics. What do you chaps think - should I do them?

Monte , Looks good to me .!!! Are the back finder flairs as good?
How much fiberglass work are you going to have to do?
In my opinion, the finders and wells have to "cover" the wiide tires so during wet weather, it won't sling water and obscure your vision.
And it looks good too.
by the way.... do you MIG/TIG/Arc/ or acetaline weld your frame?

Frame is MIG welded, with a little TIG on some of th latest touches (diagonal bar, etc.)
Quite a bit of fiberglass work ahead I'm afraid, as I want all the major body panels, the front splitter, etc. removable via Dzus fasteners for service and repair. I'm also going to hand fabricate some fiberglass intake dusct in the rear fenders for engine fresh air too.

How long ago were these posts made? I know that a lot of attachments were lost, despite our best efforts, when we did a reinstall on the server to sort out the virus problems, but this was near the beginning of the year.

The first post I went back to without pics on this topic is this one, from Oct 06, which would have fallen foul to our server re-install. If you can find one sooner can you point me in its direction please?
