Just wondering is there anywhere where you can buy a box selection of different size bolts (metric)???

As I bought a engine in peices and a few bolts in a tub, but its getting annoying trying to make orders for bolts on minispares which I dont know name of etc.

Or maybe a kit which includes all bolts and nuts needed for a rebuild?

Just wondering, so any comments would be helpful.

There is no such kit that i know of but machine mart sell boxes of nuts and bolts. Why do you want metric though? The nuts, bolts and studs are all imperial in the engine.

This is why you need to keep your nuts together, replacements are not easy to find :withstupid:

I dont think there is a kit available, you could buy bolts for specific things from minispares?

Well basically everywhere I seem to find all sorts of different threaded bolts.

So I was wondering if I bought a set of metric, I would have some when needed.

"a bucket of bolts"???? That sounds perfect, but cant seem to find it on either of the sites you mentioned.

Anyone else know where I might find a bucket of bolts???

We do various sets of bolts that include all the bolts required to build a mini engine.

What bolts did you need, all of them to do a complete engine rebuild?

Ye I am quite organised, but I didnt have my nuts and bolts to start. As I bought a stripped engine. We all learn from it all.

Just to let you know our kit comes with all the bolts in pre-labled bags of where they fit. With optional extras such as high tensile gearbox bolts etc

I can do the same.... but they will be the correct rover bolts, ie what I've taken of an engine when stripping it for parts, obviously second hand, or if you want, come strip and engine and you can have the bolts for free !

For the basic kit, which is all the external bolts for the engine and gearbox, and assuming you have the major bolts like flywheel bolt, cam nut, damper pully bolt, all internal bolts/nuts (big ends etc), head nuts etc

The price is £29.95 with std gearbox bolts or £34.95 with high tensile gearbox bolts.
