Just got my 6x10 Mamba's.

Still have the old arches on but have new wide Wood & Pickett's to put on once the body work is done.

Here's a couple pics.

Okay I want to save up for some 10x7 starmags, what kind of work will be needed, and is it wise to go from 12" to 10" being I keep bottoming out the exhaust! -.-

1: Smaller brakes if you have 8.4 discs

2: cut your front arches unless your 12 inch wheels are already 6" wide +
3: 10's probably won't make your car much lower, so it shouldnt really be a problem... but the simple answer is, raise your suspension up so you are not on the bumpstops

Indeed, do Force Racing or Image not make something similar?? Would take a 'bit' more saving tbf

You should sort out your exhaust issue really :P are you running really low?

Changing the diameter of the wheels shouldn't make much difference to the rolling radius as the profile (sidewall) of the tyres will change too

but you may need to tub the rear arches with anything 7'' wide

Slyrmini:

Not usually a fan of really wide arches, but the blue mini looks amazing.  Nice work.

Need to get my spacered drums on the back and the wheels will be going lime green soon just for a change. There only my winter wheels I was meant to put my motorsport wellers back on for the shows this year but never got round to it haha.

Width or the wheels has nothing to do with if you need to tub them, mini7's run 5's but have to tub the rears. all down to ride height

I was presuming they were running low already due to the scraping exhaust :P

it's not actually even the width that would make the difference, it's the offset  :xmas:
