or on a round front

Same wheels on both those :P They then went onto Lill Bruce :P

Not sure if the repro ones are the same offsets mind?

They do look rather sexy i must say, it's whether i can find the heart to take away Milligan's character and give him a set of arches for them to fit under! O_O Although i'm sure once i turn 17 and i've been driving standard for a few months i will probably get bored and change things up a little providing i can supply enough dollar for arches and alloys! >_<

Where did you buy it?

I had my friend buy it when he went on a trip to Japan.

seriously someone save me. biggest head ache of my life going on here!

i have a standard 1979 austin mini with standard drums standard arches, when going 4/5 up or a heavy load my tyres/wheel scrape and make a nice squeak :P

basically i want to get new wheels that are 6x10 black mambas, obviously this will make the rubbing even worse and probs wont even be able to turn the wheel!! its rubbing on the main frame of the body not the wheel arches, to get these what will i have to do to stop all rubbing etc, i want to know size of spaces needed, the size of the wheel arches (group 2 perhaps?) and then a decent tyre that wont look overly stupid! i want to go wide but not some fatboy mini just generally give it some shape, cheers guys! :)

You'll probably just need to replace the rubber cones or you have something wrong in your suspention geometry (tie bars bent?)

I'm led to believe that fitting 6" wide wheels, you'l have to do some body modifications (cut the lip and some off) I had to do this for my 12x6" wheels. I don't think the diameter makes a difference... But please correct me if i am wrong :-)

Hi, does a negative offset put excess load on the wheel bearing? Even with smaller wheels like 10"s?
I'm about to do a brake conversion to get rid of my 13x7's. I'm fed up with the poor handling, bump steer etc. I was going to go for 10x6 ultralites ET -3 but am I better going for something with a positive offset? Minitors 10x6 with ET 06 or something? My 13x7's are ET -7 and they're pretty heavy going on wheel bearings.
Please advise,
Cheers Mark

It won't matter on the wheel size bearing wise. As the tire radius is about the the same.

Yes having a positive offset will increase your bearing life but you may want to change the arches as they will sit further in on the car.

Right cheers, it's a sportspack so I need to try and fill the arches somehow, I don't want to go down the spacer route though. Might just go for the ultralites then, will still be a huge improvement from 13's.

Cheers

Very low offset or 10x7 on a sportspack otherwise it will look overarched.

I have 10x6 ultra lites with no spacers other than the spaced drum and thy dont look over arched they look a bit too over arched on the back as the rear arch mist be wider but you get used to that
