No spacers needed, they should fit over drums brakes fine. They might not fit over disc brakes larger than 7.9 inches though!

I can finally put pics of my mini in here now that she's on 10's! Went and had a play with my mates DSLR yesterday:








Front arches need cutting to accomodate the wheels, which is why the front is jacked up!

Oh, the wheels are the cheating ones from japan with the large offset to clear the calipers on an 8.4" setup.

Not true. Especially on the rear there's a high propability that the wheels foul the shock absorbers, if non-spacered drums are used. That's allready a problem with 5" wheels and 165 tyres! So the only good awnser is: not unlessthey clear all suspension parts. So check and go from there As the good old offset has a big influence here as well...

I can finally post in this thread, just done my brake conversion and spent today rubbing down some 4.5 x 10 reverse rims and spraying them.
well lower it tomorrow, should look great imo
