Has anyone ever seen a photo of 10" wire wheels ?

I'm sure I saw them on a stand at a late 1960s Racing Car Show.

There’s a thread on them here. The modern version was £800 per rim!

Thank you Timmy850.  That means a lot to me.

When I mentioned them recently, people derided me and actually said that because I'm 80, I must be stupid.

After a tyre fitter wrecking my 10x6 minilites I’ve been looking for an alternative.

only running group 2 st arches so a lot of the deep dish style won’t fit under the arches.

Decided on some Mlinator 10x6 which have a ET6 offset and should work well.

will post a pic once tyres fitted

For some time i have had a set of Jupiter 5Jx12 wheels. I can't remember what they come off or how i come to have them.

Would anybody have any information about these ?

cheers

Dave

I can find them on https://www.classicm...chnical/wheels. As it seems, they are made by KN. If you google for KN Jupiter, you'll find that the wheels are used by a number of different car types and also sizes. In this thread: https://www.theminif...jupiter-wheels/ I read that they have only been fitted to Canadian Mini's, but I can't check if that's true.

Hi fokko, thank's for the information. I'll try chasing up on the Canadian aspect of the wheels.

Funny only being fitted in Canada as they have made in Great Britain stamped on them.

Turns out my son replaced his wheels a few years ago and left these tucked away in my garage.  He now doesn't need them so has said I may as well sell them. Will need to find a value.

In my opinion the original magnesium minilites are the best looking one of them all, the reproductions don't look anywhere near as good

10” x 6” old school Magnesium's showed up, hopefully we’ll see them in a while w new tires (once we find lugs)
