Ok, I think my mind is finally set for what wheels I am going to get for my Clubman Estate. I came across this picture on Google last night and I have finally found a Clubman that looks like how I want to make my CE. I'v been convinced by many people that 13"s are not the way to go with a stock Mini and that 10"s will be the best. So, I'm planning to save some pennies to buy a set of black polished rim 10x6 Ultralites for my CE. I need to find out how far these things stick out without spacers because I want to get the "fat go kart look" out of my CE instead of the look of a mini van.

I'm hoping that you great people have pictures of your Mini with 10" deep dish wheels and don't mind posting pics of it and what you did to achieve the look. (I.E. Spacered drums, no spacers, disk brakes, etc)

Thanks! -Dan

I have 4 10 x 9s and 2 10 x 8s.... - which will possibly be for the front.. or looking at in the garage.

Sorry, I wish they were on the car... but unfortunately not... they are however, quite deep dished

Jesus they are wide. I wouldnt like to be you when having to cut away your front arches so they can turn!
Also what tyres will you use? 165/70s are stretched on 7x10s!

If I am wanting to run the 9s or indeed, the 8s, then I have to call up Dunlop direct and special order there 200/490-10 tyres. Optimum width is 8inches, but will go over to 9 at the most!
So far I have been too scared to call up and find out how much they will be. I will find out on Tuesday though!!

Would personally avoid the spacers... dont trust them at all!!

I would go with the widest wheels you can get.

I am looking to get a set of 10 x 7s to take with my turbo car on the road. Then I can swap over to the big boys when I get to a track :)

I think the reason them wheels stick out so far is because it has a vauxhall or honda engine in so it might make the track wider

I plan on replacing all the drum brakes on my mini, but before I do that I want to get a set of 10x6s first to see how far they actually stick out with my stock setup. If they don't stick out far enough for what I want, I was gonna get the 1" spacered drums for all 4 wheels. I can see spacers not being safe, but are the molded in spacers on the drums not safe aswell?
