I'll turn me angel eye's on and stand in front of it in a paper suit.
Might freak out some stoned people.

This rubber is not meant to be a waterproof seal , the doors on a mini are "wet"thats why it is so important to have drain holes in the bottom of the door shell , the secret is to stop the water inside the door from geting inside the car !Look nice I reckon, but they are why my floor pans fill up every time it rains!
lots of "duct" or "gaffer" tape over all the appetures in the door shell and a sealer like "dum dum"between the window winder mechanism and the door shell , before fitting the door trim you can test for leaks with a hose , leave the door open and the window shut , set the hose nozzle to spray and spray the outer of the door and then check the inner ,or do it with the door shut and an assistant inside (this is the prefered method).

This is extra annoying because Southern Mini Days is August 6th and I am away from 25th to 31st july so time is of the essence!
Floor panel should turn up wednesday, along with the whole kit! Hooray! So I could have it on it's wheels by the end of wednesday/thursday.
Not much welding left now. Here is end of one sill repaired.
