Came back with an 'R' and an escort 16v badge and made this to go in bottom right hand corner of mesh grill.

First I prepped all the spots that were gonna get a repair panel. This involved ginding away all the rust to find where the good metal was. Then spraying the bare metal with weld thru primer.
These pics are the holes in my bulkhead that were letting in copious amounts of water.

I also used the grinder to remove all paint from panels and from area's where weld is to take place.
This insures a good bond.
...et voila, here is the result of my first attemp with a welder.

All these repairs will also be treated with seam sealer.
