I'm from Kent
I heard about your site on the turbo mini forum.
I am desperately trying to find somewhere that sells 13x7 Starmag Alloys new, or maybe a member has a 2nd hand set for sale?
I have a half complete 1983 custom mini city. It has an Yamaha YZF R1 engine in it and it is rear wheel drive. Have also modified carbs and fitted a quick shift solenoid (so no clutch at all!). Have also Re-furbished some MG metro turbo hubs (not fitted yet though) and got a fibreglass dash and console to fit along with Cobra buckets and harnesses.
As you can tell it will be an awesome road car when complete (hopefully by Summer), but just need to find those elusive starmag alloy wheels, because i love 'em!

Woah you certainly have a mental sounding mini there, i dont think anybody has a set of starmags for sale but i know a member has had some so maybe he can help with where he got them from.

You can get them from Mega of Bromsgrove (01527) 877775, They cost around £350 - £400 for the wheel and tyre package. Try ringing Huddersfield Mini Spares (01484) 658524, they have a wide range of second hand wheels there.

Should be 160bhp when carbs are jetted properly. Got the starmags today thanks to Bluemini(red).

I'm in Canterbury so not too far away. Was thinking about joining ashford mini owners club when car's on road. Do you know anything of them?
