Hammerite Kurust Is It Any Good

hey guys i have some rust on my bonnet lip aswell as other places ive bought some hammerite kurust but did the radator with it and im nt sure if it worked so is it any good has anyone used it thanks ross

Yeah it does what it says. However if you've got rust, it's gonna come back.
Only real way to get rid is to cut out

yeh i now just wondered if it worked and the rust is only on the bonnet so not to bothered so will treat and then zinc primer then treat again if it shows signs of coming back thanks ross anyone else used it also do you sand it down after uve put it on or paint straight over it thanks ross

just sand down the area and brush on then wait...! if it dosent go black then coat it agen!

Agreed :) it does just stop the rust, I put on a few coats and its all good :D just make sure you get it all

It not really that great. Its ok for surface rust after a good wire brushing and thats about it.

Bilt hamber is the stuff you want, its much better thna kurust. Looks like it has much more of an effect at converting rust and definatly leaves a better surface for painting over.

Use hydrate 80 instead of kurust: http://caraudiosecur...s_id/10476.html

Also the deox c is good for submerging hubs/ties rods in to remove rust: http://www.bilthamber.com/deoxc.html

sorry to bring up an old post but do you just leave the kurust on and coat over it or does it need washed off?
