I have always rated Ultimate Ears, been through two pairs in five years, but have been with me everywhere. Sound is amazing, but they are a little pricey.

I was actually going to get some ultimate ears, some of the Superfi ones, but i decided the £100 wasnt justified.
One day, i will get them, because they have changeable cable, so if it breaks, you just remove the cable and fit a new one. The quality is also fabulous as is the sound quality.
I can only dream

I'd defo recommend the CX300's. Sound great, comfortable and durable
x2
I've had plenty of sets of earphones, and for the money they're pretty awesome. Excellent bass and awesome sound isolation. They'll take a fair beating as well but don't try to vacuum clean them if you don't want them in several pieces

I must have broken about 5 sets of apple earphones so don't bother with them, V Modas were good once you run them in but they broke just keeping them in my pocket.

I wouldn't call them indestructible but you would have to be pretty heavy handed to damage them. I like them because they cut out nearly all background noise so you don't have to have the volume turned up to 11 to hear music properly. They also work well with the GPS on my motorbike as they fit deep enough into my ears that they don't rub on the inside of my helmet (fnar-fnar). I've had to replace the rubbery bits because they do get a bit skanky after a while but other than that, they're great.
On google for £43 which is about £20 less than I paid a while ago. http://www.google.co...h...&sa=title#p
