Had a look through the 10" wheels post and there's only 1 image of these wheels. I'd like to see a set of 10x6 Cosmics fitted to a car, to see how far they protrude from the car. Got to decided what I'm doing arch-wise on my car but haven't got small enough discs on the front to trial fit them yet! :ermm:
Cheers
Dan

Mini Special's cover them perfectly, so your looking for something similar to mini special arches.

Group 2's perhaps?

are you using non spaced drums by any chance? i ask because after reading this i rushed out to trial fit my 10x5 cosmics.

reason being is that the look im going for (and please i dont want a discussion on legality) is standard arches with a small amount of tire poking out.

i put a 10x5 cosmis on my half mini trailer with a standard arch and there is a small amout of tire showing through, about 10mm-ish

10x6's should stick much further out on standard arches

I wanted to attempt to get away without arches, and yes I know it wouldn't be legal but I think it might be a bit too illegal :ermm:. I've got a set of W&P's that I could put on it but I'm not too sure.

And I am currently on spaced drums rear, but could convert back if that helped me out a little...
Infact I've got a picture of the rear, it was the fronts I'm more concerned about:

(That's on spaced drums with 10x6's)
Sorry about the surprise rust hole we found! :-

Yeah Gp2's are nice. What do you reckon with the above? Too wide? I know it won't pass an MOT like it, but do you reckon it's something Mr Policeyman isn't going to like?
EDIT: I will be putting a chrome strip down the whole side of the car on the lip, so that'll make a slight difference. But the car will be as low as possible without being silly so it'll show up more.

I guess only you can answer whether you would get any trouble from the police or not, what are the police like in your area? I personally think i would be ok as we don't get a lot of trouble and therefore not many police are about. :D

hey, im fitting the 10x6 cosmics with grp2's....i had to get the huddersfield spares 2.5" arches to provide enough cover.....but not too much. I first got the 1.75" minispares arches but they were way too narrow and terribly made.
heres some pics so far....spaced rear drums, 8.4 discs on the front without their calipers as i havent fitted my 7.5" yet. remember in the pics there is still the chrome strip to fit along with the body-to-arch strip.

Thanks for the pics! Just what I was after. Will be too wide won't they. Think i'll look at getting some gp2s. Did the huddersfield ones fit straight on or need to be trimmed? Cheers, Dan

the huddersfield archs are a brilliant fit, probably will require a little sanding here and there but im very fussy. could probably just screw them on as they are!

They cover the tyres perfectly, as you have to remember theres the 2 edging strips to go on yet. remember, its only the tread that needs to be covered, not the actually tyre wall or wheel itself.
