Love the way they mix all the names up for random models

So, presumably (and rather appropriately) they'll be calling this one the "Pick-up"

Haha. Yes, now we just have to wait for the other models!

MINI use names that test well in all the territories where they sell the car, they like to produce world models rather than have different names in different countries. Mini Countryman and Traveller tested very badly in lots of markets including Australia and the far east because the originals weren't sold there under that name. Remember that original Mini models you 'know and love' had different names in different countries and you might not recognise them by those names. Do you know what a Mini-K is? Or an Authi? Or a Mini Cord? MINI have a big bag of old model names to use and they will use the ones for each model they make that works best for that model in the majority of markets.

I actualy think that the Bini would make a nice Pickup, they would need to increase the wheel base slightly, but they oculd do a normal version and then a 4x4 using the crossover (or whatever its called) chassis and drive train.

Is it ironic that the numberplate ends in VOM which is clearly a code for VOMIT???
