Shame on the slow progress. Life always gets in the way. I haven't really done anything to mine in ages. All I have done in the past 2 weeks in buy stuff that then just sits in the garage waiting for a dry and put a weather shield on.
Yeah. It sucks. But I'll get round there on the weekend for an hour or two.
Wife might kill me though..

Lil' Em looks great though! Love the bonnet picture - It's so satisfying when you make it shine like that again, isn't it?
Keep goin', Tom - It's coming on really nicely!!

We got the rear windows in!
I'm going to swap on some nice doors that I obtained just before Christmas as they are fully made up.
Em's doors are missing everything, so I thought it would be easier to swap in the 'new' doors.
We had a good go at removing the passenger door.
The upper set of nuts are stripped, so this could be fun.. it may be easier to set up the doors that are on there rather than swap on the new ones in the end anyway???
We also dropped Em back to the floor to swap the axle stands to the back.
I'll have a go at her rear brakes soon.
Oh, and she took some serious persuasion to start. Cold weather...?
We had spark (ouch - thanks Chris!) and fuel. In the end she did start.
But how long has it been since I saw her? A month or six weeks maybe?
I recon once she's in serious use, we'll be fine.
Would this be legal?

Mine were the same, the easiest way i found of removing them was to dremmel the head of the nut right off - I tried putting a slot in for a flathead screwdriver, but couldnt get any of my screwdrivers in the gap between the door and the screw, so, as the head was already weakened, the quickest way was to take the head off - still took an hour thoughI'm going to swap on some nice doors that I obtained just before Christmas as they are fully made up.

the wheels are legal if only 25mm or less of the tread is protruding.... the tyre wall can all it wants...

If anyone wants to help get her ready for L2B, I'd love the assistance!

I'm always up for helping. Thing is I work weekends. Can do evenings though.
That's cool. Brakes by head torch. I like it.

Im free on sunday, and evenings
I've got to do the Reading Half Marathon this weekend (Sunday) until about 1300. Maybe in the afternoon we could get stuck in?
You know how we put Em back on her tyres. They've, um, gone down a bit. Ok. A lot. We'll need axle stands.
