Immediate jobs:
- Get the engine started again (I'm charging the battery as I write, expect I'll need some new fuel?)
- Get the rear brakes on. I can't get the drum over the shoes. Have adjusted the brakes back off and slackened the hand brake. Hmm.
- Finish the front end brakes.
- Get her on wheels and move her to a better garage (!! Yes - with actual light and power !!)

Front brakes on, hubs just needing tightening to torque settings once the rear is back on the floor and handbrake applied.
Still cant get her started though.

Today, for the first time since I started work on her, Little Em is solidly back on the ground.
Rear brakes were adjusted, including handbrake:
Then, with a bit of creaking, she sank slowly to the floor at the back end. Not sure how she felt having new shoes...
Once the rear brakes were working, I felt happier applying the 150ft/lbs or so required to do up the front hubs.
(Yes, yes, I used the magic washer provided by Martin at MRA Minis!)
Then, front wheels on and down she sits...
Just in case you thought Minis were small, here is Katy making Em look quite spacious.
Perhaps I should put a chair in there hmm?
(Or get a bigger girlfriend?)

That usually does the trick.
If theres a spark at the plugs then it will go!!
(unless the leads are mixed up then you'll get a huge flame filled backfire through the carb!!)

Turn the key: nothing.
Stop turning the key: splutter.
So it's gotta be spark related, no?
Timing? Not a strong spark? Dodgy coil?
