Are you going to keep the vents in the dash, or are you going to put the speakers back in?

I must say, it looks alot better with the walnut dash. I think it goes alot better with the steering wheel, door cards, carpet, etc.
Are you going to keep the vents in the dash, or are you going to put the speakers back in?
I think I am going to keep the vents. BUT put small speakers in the back of the dash so they are less discrete. what do you think? I already have 4 6x9's in the back... so don't need too much sound - just some at the front. i'm not too keen on big speakers etc.

Have you fitted the MPI magnolia clocks? Is so have you changed the setting on the variable resistor for the rev counter? If its a carb then you will need to do that otherwise the revs will be way out.
Looks good though.
Paul.
well I noticed that it is MILES out. that was going to be a post today! but... I might keep the old clocks from my old dash... they are newer and look better (well I think so - also means I am not messing around with trying to "clock" the new one to the actual miles it should read for my car)
Cheers

It's been a few years since I bought one, but I was buying Rover walnut 3+3s, with all the clocks, in absolutely pukka condition for around the ~£200 range. Unless they've gone up a lot in recent years?

I don't know whether they have gone up all I know is that I also needed a new time clock as mine doesn't seem to work... and when I priced that it was around £60 for that alone... so taking that off the value of the dash it seems a good enough deal... I will also sell my old one, which I have already had an offer for... so that will bring it down some more... problem is I couldn't find another one with the dials all in...I like it better than the old dash, but I think you paid too much.

But I'm happy with it. I'm just glad it looks good! cause like you said its a lot of money!
Cheers
