I've got a 5x10" set of them and Google isn't returning much info. It seems they're from the 60's or so.
Are they rare or sought after? They seem ridiculously light, as if they were racing wheels or so.
Excuse the ignorance, I know virtually nothing about the pile of parts in my garage!
Anyway, they look like this:

Any info would be appreciated.

Will look great with some detailing! Polish this bit, paint that bit!
I was planning to fit a set of 8.4" brakes to my project, being only 10" these won't fit over them. If they're fairly rare I might reconsider my size of brake choice to accomodate them.

There's unfortunately not much info on the net regarding J.A. Pearce Engineering.
If you look through racing pictures from the 60s and 70s you see them quite regulary.
Doesn't mean many survived, though. Racing kills material & wheels
Hmm... Very light you say... Might be worth checking if they'r magnesium wheels.
If they are, I would not recommend using them! Mag wheels get very fragile with time and are not longer up to job (of carying enormous(!) loads, p.e. in cornering).
Cheers,
Jan

Ah, that might be the final nail in the coffin for them then. My project is a turbo Mini pickup, I'm hoping once it's finished that it'll be capable of attaining some decent cornering speeds. Fragile 60's magnesium wheels may not be a sensible choice!

As said: check it! Aluminium wheels can be pretty light too!

The only thing stopping me putting them up for sale is that I have no idea of their worth. I don't want to try and sell a £30 set of wheels for £150 and equally don't want to sell a £150 set of wheels for £30, if you get me.
Anyway, the pics:
Any ideas of a value?
Sam
