take a banana near it. if it grabs it it is not genuine. and most probably it is not. what do u mean it looks like a mini ? a fake rolex or cartier or bretling looks like one but they are replicas. what exactly you dont understand from the fact that you have a fake car made by someone to sell it to a victim like yourself ?

Jean-Paul: Rover did come back and tell me that my Mini rolled off the Longbridge assembly line on the 17th February 1997. So, it has been verified to be an authentic Mini.

03jkirk: The Workshop Manual for the '97 has the same breakdown. The W is not explained in the tenth digit position there either.
