Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a repair panel for the offside part of the bulkhead crossmember?

See the photo below - its just rotten on the topside of the first few inches on the driver's driver's side - the rest of it is sound.

If possible, I'm just after a plate to cover the gaping hole - just past the holes for the clutch and brake master cylinders might be nice.

Thanks loads,

Paul

Wow, that was fast! :(

Yes, that's the badger - thanks loads!! Do you remember how much it was?

One more question - what goes into the big hole in the wing (on your photo)?
I've seen a big air intake/elbow thing there in photos, but the one in my car is missing and I haven't come across one on the parts websites yet.

Can't remember how much it was, poss around the £50 mark. They had to make the panel especially for me.

You can also get a 1/2 bulkhead from sommerford or any Heritage panel supplier.

The big holes for an elbow that ducts air to the heater.

Good call - only I like my cup holders horizontal, not vertical!!

Still, most of the crossmember is sound - plenty of room to balance a cuppa there. Perhaps not when the welding is being done though...
