I just painted the engine block with high temp silver paint. Cleaned it as best I could first but just wasn't good enough. Stripped everthing off and emoved all the engine covers and sprayed them.
The roll cage is from The Roll Centre. Mines welded in but a 'bolt in' is available I think

Yeh that site helped me out loads. Found it quite early on in my build process and is pretty helpful for all the electrical side
Heading to Coombe as well on Saturday. Wheels are next on my shopping list and are the last big spend on the project for me

Finally got the rear section of headlining to stay in place. Now considering using the same method on the other two sections as the finish is much neater
No more clambering in, out, in, out as the interior is at last finished (unless i redo the headlining as above). Dashboard in place. Fits pretty well and im pleased everything lined up exactly as it should

Im really pleased with them - ive bought a lot of parts for my mini and to be honest some well know brands have left me pretty disappointed with fit, quality, time etc but these are the nuts

Just had the tyres fitted today. Proved a challenge for the fitters but they didn't damage the wheels thankfully
