Far left vacuum take off

Not so easy to see but I’ve circled the two T pieces behind which there is a short piece of vacuum pipe that goes to the take offs and then there’s a fourth at the far end. Oversized pipe arrowed is the servo line.

Fitted a much wider rear view mirror. After the show I realised just how poor my rearward visibility is to the point where changing lanes was a bit of a gamble at times.

The door mirrors are next up for replacement. I’m older now and being able to see all around is more important so something a little larger in a similar style would be ideally

Always felt there was a little play in the steering column and after a recent drive it had become really loose. The shear bolts were barely finger tight so sought the opportunity to upgrade from the basic drop bracket and purchase one of these which does away with two separate brackets and combines them as one smart looking billet item

It’s made a real nice solid feel to the steering now. No more play or wobble.

Over winter I would like to fit a second radiator across the front to help with cooling. I know they run hot in general but I don’t want to be worrying about overheating all the same. Seen a few guys on a Facebook page have had them nicely installed across the front and I think it would be a useful addition.
If anyone has any recommendations I would appreciate some info.

That looks decent.  I don't like my cheapo bracket.  Where does one pick up that?  Google not telling me....

I think I started the trend for this duel rad mod. It really helped with cooling. I was just a 2 core rad (water in, along length, around 180, back along length, back out) with the inlet & outlet on the same side plumbed into the water circuit. Just had it sat on the R1 cradle frame directly in the airflow. I might have some pics on a thread somewhere on here or instagram 'duds100' might have some. Or failing that drop me a message and I will try and dig some pics out for you.

Thanks for the info re the second radiator. That sounds similar to images I’ve seen. I found a post on Facebook where someone had helpfully put up the dimensions for the rad they had made up. Something for the new year now.

I know they run hot but I just feel I don’t have much room to play with in terms of temperature. The extra cooling would give me peace of mind. It’s the open arches that compound the problem as I know at speed it disrupts the airflow out from the radiator. In traffic it’s actually better as the fan can do its job properly
