The thread on the inside of the master cylinder had stripped and ruined the copper pipe too. Replaced both items but the foremost pipe is still weeping and I dare not tighten it further incase the same happens again. The brakes are also really soft and ive bleed the 4 times this week. Adjusted the rears correctly but pedal is still mushy. Pedal is really hard to push at first until you start the engine and the servo works causing the pedal to go soft.
The brakes stop the car and I know new pads and discs will bed in over time but I cant see them passing an mot as they are

Speedo healer works a treat. Clocks were reading 40% out on the first test run. Now its much more accurate. Engine feels strong - cant stretch its legs where ive been testing it but in a car 10,000rpm looks a long way off. Gear shift is nice just managed to get into 6th so I know they all work.
Steering is heavier than I remember and I cant see anything out the useless door mirrors and the rear view mirror is obscured by the rollcage.
But its still fun - I may have to risk some early Sunday morning action just let it rev and bed the brakes in

Haha yet I did notice that!

Yeh ive a power commander installed. Loads of maps to chose from but in the end I picked one that included an aftermarket exhaust and air filter. It would need to time on the rollers to get it set up properly

Once it has an mot I will bring it down to you. Won't be long now I hope. When I took those videos it was the first time id seen it out in the sun after all these years. It's awesome, especially the red it's so rich in colour and the pearl in the roof comes out too. Top job you did there.
