She lives!!!!!!!
It's been a long time coming but i refitted the loom last night.
Double checked it all this morning after finding the injector o rings
had all worn from when I removed them last time.

Tried it a few times and it fired up.
No exhaust on it yet so its real loud and idles at 3000rpm so some adjustment needed there.

So happy to finally make this big step forward.

everything is wired up now, dashboard back in place.

next task is to adjust the clutch and gear operation and adjust the handbrake. then i may be able to take it for a maiden voyage up and down the road.

started the engine up again today.

still sits at 3000 - 3500rpm which is an issue. disconnected throttle cable and wound out the idle adjuster to no avail.

may disconnect the power commander and see if its a mapping fault.

also got a fault code on the dash now indicating a speed sensor or neutral switch fault - both of which i have tested and appear to be functioning fine.

Code 42 which is the sensors you mentioned has a habit of showing if the thing hasn't moved in a while..... Just jack it up and run it through a few gears at idle. Sensor picks up and the code is gone. I found this when I kept starting mine but going no where!

Ps. Video comes up as private so unable to watch!

Ah that makes sense with the sensor. I checked it out with the multimeter and ran it via dash diagnostics and all appears fine.
Thanks for the advice

Changed video to public so should be able to view it now.

Have you fitted a catch tank for diff and reverse box? And also a catch tank for engine oil?
