i think the arches are grp 5 but cant be sure as i was given them the wheels are 12x6 but not the deep dish ones. no spacers fitted
Thanks for that They do look like grp5 and the revolutions I have are 5.5x12 with 165 tyres so shouldnt be too different although the revo are inset more i think.

which was great untill the recent hot sunshine, i've never been happy with the quality of the arches (thin and flimsy) and now in the heat they fiberglass has warped and even cracked in one spot >
so now the plan is to remove them and add extra layers of f/g matt to the underside to strengthen them and then re prep and re-spray them
it should have been on the road this week
so the final few bits are now on order (seatbelts etc) the two front arches have been removed and reinforced with 2 layers of fibreglass matting and it think i'll add another few patches where the bolts mount.
tomorrow the rears will get the same treatment then sunday its re-prep then spray during the week then fit on weekend and get it MOT'd the following week

What did you use to sound deaden?
its aluminium flashing thats used by roofers, its pretty much the same as dynamat but much cheaper
