What you've got there is a common bodge job.

The sill thats hanging down is called an oversill and is not original, somebody as welded this on top of the already rotten original sills.

The whole lot needs removing .

Looking at the floor picture looks like a repairs already been done. Might be an idea put a new floor pan in.

I thought it might be an over sill!! I plan on cuting the lot out and the floor pans and re doing it. The drivers side floor pan has 3 layers of repairs! I think I will get the angle grinder out later and start chopping!

Shopping List

Floor pan (left & Right)
Inner sill (left & Right)
Outer sill (left & Right)

Anything else?

Thanks

Looking at floor panels shouldn't need Inner sills, they are part of the floor section.

I'd be tempted put the shell on a rotiserie with that much welding.

Yeah was thinking that, but I'm not sure on how to do it or where I can get the stuff to do it. Is it do-able without?

Where's the best place to cut the outer sills from? The seam that joins the door step?

Thanks
