Hi people
I have a lumenition electronic ignition modual (i think) it has the numbers 22127 and underneath 3906d.
It has 6 wires coming out of it 3 of which go into a block conector with the other end on the dizzy.But the other 3 wires are loose and need connecting up.Can anyone confirm where they go.
Black = earth i think as its got a crimped ring terminal on
Purple = has a flat male crimp terminal
RED= has a flat female crimp terminal
Any ideas please

hi mate,
You want to be looking at THIS pdf, which shows fitting the PMA 50 (power module) of the lumenition kit.
Please see wiring diagram on page 1, it shows a brown wire, but then in the text says "Please note that the Brown wire is a Violet wire on later units."
Essentially,
RED = ignition live
Black = earth
Purple (Violet) = negative side of coil
Quote: "NEVER connect Violet coil lead to 12v +ve supply"
On reading the whole document, it seems you will need to "time in" the chopper on static timing, and perhaps would aslo be prudent to recheck timing of engine ignition when installed and running for fine, accurate results with a timing light as normal.
