doing a good job so far mate keep it up! Can't wait to see it finished. Ive got a designer too, so if your ever after a random bit of nimbus trim let me know because i might have it spare!

however im interested in how your front panel seam has turned out as thats how i was thinking of welding mine

Lawrence: Thanks! Basically it was clamped on all flush and seam welded along the front seam between the wings and the panel. Then ground down and smoothed over with a small amount of filler..yeah i think it looks ok..needs a bit of work still tho :thumbsup:

UPDATE! She now runs properly! Has a Doorstep and a new inner sill and a pinted and seam sealed floor!

Well after not updating this for a while and not having any pics ive decided to update!!
Since the last time I have:
* Replaced passenger and drivers floors
* Replaced Drivers inner sill
* Replaced Drivers doorstep
* Replaced Drivers Outer Sill
* Repaired Drivers flitch
* Repaired Drivers Air vent panel
* Replaced Drivers A Panel
* Replaced Front Panel
* Replaced Drivers Headlight Attatchment Panel
* Engine has been run in
* Front hubs Refurbished

Ive also bought:
* Brand new pair of reskinned doors
* Bootlid
* Adjustable Hilo's and Spax Shocks
* Radiator
* LCB Manifold and RC40 Backbox
* Hif 38 Carb
* Various Other bits etc.

Still Need to do:
* Repair to scuttle
* Repair to Drivers rear w/arch
* Boot floor repair
* Passengers Outer sill
* Passengers Rear Light Panel
* Rear Hinge Panel repair
* Strip and Prep
* Spray ( In white now because of cost and better finish in long run)

Erm I've only got to complete the scuttle then I've got the passenger sill, drivers rear wheel arch repair, boot floor and rear hinge panel! Then the welding is done >_<

Meh, its not too bad. The worst bit was the front panel, took me about 3 months worth of saturdays to line it all up, weld it all on and smooth it all off. and the doorstep took 2 attempts to get it right aswell- that was annoying! ;)
Scuttle, outer sill and rear arch repair and boot floor should be ok, but the hinge panel/rear light panel seems tricky :(
Cant wait to crack on and get it painted :errr:

Small update.
Scuttle is nicely welded up now and repaired the rear quarter panel on the drovers side down by the wheel arch :)

Meh, not gonna bother with any of this crap anymore, noone seems to care :L
I'll put a pic up in the new year when hopefully I'll have sprayed it.
