And to answer your questions burny.... No im not replacing the wings, im going to seam weld along the seam then grind the welds back level and run a thin cutting disc in the seam- as how it was done originally meant that lots of water got trapped in the seam, e.g how they rotted away quickly.

And i know there hasnt been a lot of progress lately as i left miniforum because of situations like this that you have caused because people cannot accept that i only have 2 hours a week on the mini and that i work how i want to work.... hope this answers your question as from now on im pi*sed off with people telling me how to do things on here and i will get mods to delete posts....rant over

well front panel is all finnished and smoothed off :P
Headlight attatchment panel all ground off and new one clamped on ready for welding tommorow :)

ALSO!:
I found 2 of my 4.5x10 cooper s reverse rims :thumbsup:

Drivers floor and inner sill cut out, going to complete it tommorow and hopefully get the new panel cut down and taked in monday :shifty:

Floors in :) have got pics but no lead to put em on with :P so your all gonna have to wait a bit unfortunately, but its looking good and progress is picking up a bit :( im pleased!
gonna finnish it all off tommorow and grind the welds down ;)

Well all the welding on the floors done so thats one thing to tick off the list :) Next the flitch....
