drilled lots of spot welds out today......
progress to come in the form of welding front panels and headlight attatchment panels :thumbsup:

right been quite busy grinding and preping for the past few weeks, nearly done now for the front....

Touch too close with the camera either that or you have zoomed in too much, nice project though keep it going.

have been in oxford for a few days recently helping minidream94 out with his van, but on saturday got a few hours in on the mini,
firstly i completed grinding off the seams and then this..................

Always best to fettle about until you get it better than perfect, then you only weld it once. I learnt that the hard way.

Well unfportunately the parts supplier only had 1 teardrop mount so i now have to wait until monday to get the other- so no updates on the front panel.... but i did get to reconstruct parts of the bonnet and 'debadge' (filler in) the badge holes....

Nice work, I hate it when you're waiting for something and then only part of the order turns up, it really throws a spanner in the works and changes the direction the project is going in, looking good though , keep up the good work

had 6 mots today which left 10 minutes on the mini, got the pair mounts on so its ready to be lined up and welded, somehow i managed to break the attatchment for the bolt and welded that back on within the 10m minutes i had :
