Right, I spent 4 hours down at the garage today, 3 hours it took me to prep the panel and tack in ( 4 attempts =]) into place :thumbsup: Then about 25 mins to weld and begin to grind down some welds :xmas:

there ya go :D welding is pretty stodgy for my first attempt but welds should grind up ok >_<

and next time im down we can work on it together yh

yep, bonnet needs rubbing down and priming =] anytime youre bored in the Hols Nick, u know Mum will let u come down and help if were doing nothing :xmas:

right, decided to look at the doorstep on the driverside (as the passengers sid is all welded) and look what i found >_< :

but have now cut out some of the rot ready for a new panel:

i was only there for 2 hours so apart from cutting i didnt have enough time to do much else :cry:

t'was down at the shop for a few hours today and:

rubbed down some 'surface' rust in the boot to reveal this :)

Chris.........!!! Progress :)

hehe lol, havnt been there lately, but as its xmas day i had a few bits ;) , Nimbus Grille, Interior trim (nimbus), spray can (nimbus), Steering wheel(original, Nimbus), and a recon HS4 Carburettor (1.5 inch su) so maybe next sunday i will be down at the workshop but who knows :) :P
